This American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) course is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings.

 

The program provides fundamental information on the business of babysitting - proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding to ill or injured children or infants.

This is a fun, interactive program with a mix of video and hands-on learning. The course requires that the online portion be completed before the start of class. Successful completion is based on achievement of the core learning objectives rather than a prescribed instruction time.

Students will be evaluated on their unassisted performance of the required skills.

Upon successful completion of this training course participants will achieve certifications in:

  • Pediatric CPR/AED
  • Basic First Aid
  • Child and Babysitting Safety

*Participants must be at least 11 years of age by the date of the training to register
