Volleyball

Like basketball, volleyball was invented at a YMCA to give members and participants an active game to play indoors. And did it ever catch on. Now volleyball is one of the most popular games at outdoor barbecues, in high school and collegiate athletics, and even at the Olympics.

At the Y, our volleyball league is a developmental league designed to teach new and experienced players how to play and improve their skills at the game. Volleyball is open to boys and girls. 

Volleyball is offered twice a year at select branches at the YMCA of Greenville.

 Registration: Mar. 7 - Apr. 3
 Late Registration: Apr. 4-12 ($20 late registration fee will apply)
 Season Runs: May 2 - June 18
 Members: $65
 Non-Members: $100

Volleyball Uniform Information

The volleyball jerseys are a "ladies cut" and slimmer than most of the uniforms we use in Y Youth Sports. A good rule of thumb is to order a size up from what you normally would.
